At The Salvation Army of Plymouth, we are a church and a community center. Our office has a social services program (Family & Community Ministries department) which helps meet the needs of those who are struggling financially in our community. Our Community Center offers various programs throughout the year and these programs are open to all.
Food and toiletries are distributed as available and families can receive emergency supplemental food/toiletries every 45-60 days with demonstrated need. Families must call to make appointments for food pantry.
Pathway of Hope
We have comprehensive case management for families ready to take action.The program is a partnership between client and caseworker to develop a personalized action plan, meet and discuss progress and chart future plans. If you are seeking to change and looking for a path ask about Pathway of Hope.
RISE budget plan from DTE and REACH budget plan from Consumers is available. Please note if your bill arrearage is $2000 or higher, you will not qualify. Utility bill must be in your name and you must meet household income/usage guidelines. Bill holder will need valid driver’s license or state ID and actual social security car. You will need 45 work of paycheck stubs and/or current SSI/SSD letter and recent bank statement.
At the corner of Ann Arbor Rd. and Main Street. There is a DFCU bank on the corner right next to this Salvation Army.
