The Wayne Home Visiting Local Leadership is pleased to offer through its Home Visitor Learning Opportunity Series “Teaching Safe Sleep in the Home: Techniques for Working with Families.” This training is taking Place Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at New Hope Church Wayne. It is designed specifically to equip home visitors with resources, information, and strategies to help increase the impact of the prevention message with parents of infants. The skilled trainers will provide an in-depth discussion on techniques for working with families and conduct interactive scenarios to help build competency.
NOTE: MIHP’s are required to complete this training by May 31, 2019
All participants will receive a laminated flip chart for home visits
1.5 CEU’s are available to social workers
Training meets the MIHP provider requirements for doing the “Infant Safe Sleep: Helping Families Practice Safe Sleep” Training.
When: Wednesday May 8th, 2019. Continental breakfast beginning at 9:15 am and training will begin at 9:30 am and ends at 11:30 am.
