Description

Crossroads is a social service outreach agency with two locations in Detroit. Crossroads exists to support the community at large by providing emergency assistance, advocacy, and counseling to anyone in need.

Each Sunday afternoon from 12PM-3PM, Crossroads serves a hot meal to all who come. Teams from parishes and service organizations throughout the metro Detroit area host the Soup Kitchen.

Crossroads Social Services Unit offers counseling and provides clients with material aid such as transportation, food, clothing, and the costs of identification and prescriptions.

Crossroads Employment Office assists those seeking full-time work. Potential employers and job openings are canvassed in our Resource Room and applicants are offered ‘job readiness’ preparation prior to job interviews.

Our Summer Lunch Program was created to ensure that children would continue to receive nutritious meals throughout the summer while school is out.  Teams from service organizations throughout the metro Detroit area host the Program Monday through Friday for 10 weeks.

Our Parenting Support Program helps parents acquire knowledge, skills and tools to nurture their children, help parents provide a healthy, wholesome, caring environment for their children and family. This Program meets every Tuesday at 11AM and 1PM. Educational and other parenting related topics are discussed. Material assistance provided (clothing, diapers, formula).
