Family Support Action Team holds Basic Needs Drive

In response to the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)/cash assistance cuts, Great Start’s Family Support Action Team is sponsoring a Basic Needs Drive for these families who live in Wayne County. When families do not have their basic needs met, the risk of child abuse and neglect increases.

We are asking for items you cannot purchase with BRIDGE CARDS such as toilet paper, hygiene products, toiletries, diapers, and wipes.

The drive is happening now through November 21, 2011. Items can be brought Monday - Friday to the following places where drop boxes are located:
