Star Power 2012!

The annual Star Power campaign, supporting early childhood, made a local impact this year with three days of exciting activities! The "Made in Michigan" themed events kicked off at the YWCA on Monday, May 14 recognizing local legislators that have been champions for our youngest citizens. Day two, Tuesday, May 15 continued with an outdoor celebration for kids at the Bright Stars Early Learning Center. Children enjoyed face painting, a bounce house, and lunch with their parents and friends. Day three, Wednesday, May 16 concluded the events with countless activities at Focus Hope in Detroit. Thank you to all the supporters and partners that helped make this year's Star Power a success!
