The Healthy Baby Begins with You (HBBY) Training is intended to increase
awareness about the problem of infant mortality, the causes, why it matters,
and what can be done to change the outcomes. As a participant in the training,
you will learn what we as a larger community can do to support our young
families and reduce the number of our babies who die.
You will also learn how to give the same presentation to communities and families
and learn how to train others to do the same. Those trained can aid in the
promotion of maternal and infant health by joining the Speakers Bureau.
The goal is to ensure a great start for every child by stopping infant mortality.
The title says it all "a healthy baby begins with you!"
DATE: Thursday, March 1, 2012
TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
PLACE: One Ford Place (Between Second and Third Ave), Gilmore Room (please check-in at front desk).
*Parking available in the lot off Third Ave., or one hour only parking on the street.
