Are you a program that serves 2-5 year old children in the Downriver area?

Through the generous support of the Colina Family Foundation, the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan is expanding its program offerings in Lincoln Park, Melvindale, River Rouge, and Taylor. The program is seeking engagement from day care centers, preschools, child care providers, libraries, and other locations that serve children aged 2-5. All training, materials, and technical assistance will be provided to partnering sites at no charge.

Parent Coalition Helping One Another

The Great Start Wayne County Parent Coalition is a group that focuses on positive parenting and supporting their children from the very beginning. Even before birth. They were originally conceived through the Great Start Collaborative of Wayne County, but now work in partnership with the collaborative supporting many of the same issues surrounding early childhood.
